DNS-320L does not appear as device in mydlink account
« on: September 06, 2014, 01:57:02 AM »

I have recently purchased and installed a DNS-320L on my home LAN with a DIR868L router hooking up to Internet. The DIR868L appears on mydlink but the DNS-320L does not.

The web interface Wizard (I used this as I have Ubuntu and not Windows) on DNS-320L did not request my mydlink account details - is this why the device is not registered with my account ? If so, how does one configure the device to enter my mydlink account details. I have run thru all the config option and see no screen where is configured.

Or is issue due to device not being to connect out to Dink site via firewall on DIR-868L due to some port forwarding rule not being setup ?

Can you advise please what steps are required to register my dns-320L with mydlink.

I am assuming that it is indeed possible for mydlink to see a device inside my LAN - in this case my newly purchased DNS-320L

Can anyone advise how to 'register' a DNS320L with MyDlink given that the device is inside my firewall/router
