No Volumes after Factory Reset
« on: April 24, 2014, 12:40:02 PM »

Hi All,

Yesterday because of problems with Media Server on my dns-320L I run Factory Reset from Web GUI but didn't save the configuration.
After reboot no volumes were found and two orange lights lit on the front of the box.
I just check one of the drives using hdd caddy and Hirens Boot EXT Explorer software that the data on hard drive is untouched and can be easily copied... so far so good.

I wonder if its possible to revert and connect the volumes back again somehow without formatting (which DLink software wants to do). Any scan, checks that could be performed in order to get it into previous state? I had fun_plug set and lots of data that needs now to be copied elsewhere to format two hdds...

Any ideas much appreciated.

PS. The volumes were set up as standard (no RAID).
PS2. Already tried with different firmware (1.01) - no luck.

I had same problem, had to backup data, format volumes and copy again
there should be a configuration file somewhere around
