Stops recording on my SD card.
« on: May 13, 2014, 01:18:57 PM »

Why dose the camera stop recording ???

Video 238   files
Picture 0   files

Total:31154688KB, Used:28414560KB, Free:2740128KB

Setup is to send a Picture of every event and record the Movie on the card, It works for 238 files and then stop storing any Movies on the SD card.

I still recive the email but nothing is recorded.

This feels very insecure and nothing is wrong with the SD card when I check it.

D-link adding tons of function but the stability makes the Products useless :( I got 3 of these cameras :( !!!

In the web UI navigate to SETUP > Event Setup > RECORDING SETTINGS

The option titled Total cycling recording size will place a ceiling on how much storage space the camera is permitted to use.  Try increasing that number to the size of the SD Card.

I presume you setup an event and selected Video motion detection or Passive Infrared sensor as the TRIGGER.  The setup process requires that you complete the RECORDING SETTINGS described in my prior post.  :-\  ???

Why should I add a recording event that I will have disable to make Event recording to work ? Sound very strange.

It works to just add an event, it just stop working after some random time.
Feels more like a software problem and not a setting problem.

I added 24/7 recording all times now to make sure it will record and until a new firmware gets out.

The looooong duration beteen firmware changes will make me buy other brands next time.

The day d-link understand that software is as important as hardware design they might have quality.
