another question for DCS5222L Motion Detection
« on: September 17, 2014, 03:00:16 AM »

Hi all,

i've just bought the DCS5222l (rel B1) and i've set the motion detection but i've some doubts, below the detail of my settings.

1. i'm using the Motion Area with 85% of sensibility and 5% of area
2. i'm using only the video motion option not the PIR
3. when the motion is detected, the IP camera send an email with the snapshot

I receive a lot of alerts when someone is near to the Motion Area (i see this from the received snapshot) but not in, when nobody is around it works correctly.

Someone can help me?

thank you
freeman

ok forget my previous post, the false positive is generated from body shadow... MAH! Anyway if i enable the PIR sensor, can i use also the Motion Area setting?
