DNS-320 - MAC OS X 10.6.8 - Problems setting up Time Machine
« on: August 25, 2014, 09:57:30 AM »

Hi,

I have a DNS-320 at home working with some computers. One of them is a MAC OS X 10.6.8 with a drive mounted but when I try to setup a time machine for store the MAC backup in the NAS, the unit is not appearing. What I am doing wrong?

Check to see if you've enabled Time Machine services. Log in to your DNS-320. Go to "Applications". Then "Local Backups" and then "Time Machines." Enable it, if you haven't already enabled it. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I have the Time Machine check enabled in the NAS but the unit still does not appear when I am doing the Time Machine configuration... any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
