NAS to smart Viera Panasonic filename update problem

I have just installed NAS, mainly so I didn't have to keep plugging my hard drive in and out of PC to add files to play on new Panasonic TV
What I have noticed is updating files via any method (PC, myDlink, web interface) they all instantly update and can be seen in any other interface. But the TV does not see these updated file names "often" especially certain folders. I understand this is not technically a Dlink issue, just wondering if there is some "refresh" or defrag I can apply so TV may recache or whatever to see updated folder/file names
I have turned off TV/NAS hoping a resynch may work as it seems to be accessing the old file structure
 I have had to create anew folder and move files to it to g them to be seen, but this works after few goes
Any ideas
