I've had a couple of lockups on my router, for the most part it seems to last 7-10 days before this occurs.
Recently I caught my router before it locked up completely. I've been playing with rainmeter on my desktop and noticed my TcpOut dropped to 0 for my D-Link facing NIC on one of my devices. I've been copying a large amount of files around, about 200GB from one computer to another.
I tried to look at the system logs and ended up getting a message saying, trouble retrieving logs, running low on memory. I have a lot of extraneous logging due to the fact that the D-Link is incapable of understanding that FIOS settop boxes like to broadcast on what it considers unroutable network. I've tried setting a routing entry for it within the DGL-4500 but it won't let me.
Is there any way to configure the logging for the device to retain less information? I was under the assumption that turning off INFO only prevents it from being displayed, it doesn't actually change what is being logged.
