Disable the range extender for now.

if you want to use custom DNS:
You have to disable DNS Relay on the router to see or use custom DNS, If you leave DNS relay enabled, then the router will use DNS it detects from the ISP modem and pass a 192.168.0.1 to all connected devices.

That's what it was doing and it was doing it just fine.

Now all the sudden, it is picking up 192.168.1.240 (the range extender) as a DNS.  I have no idea how it sees that thing as a DNS.

Probably due to it being connected to the range extender. Turn it off and then connect devices and see what you get. Range extender may pass thru or use it's own DNS as an entry.

Not a fan of this range extender either way.  I restored my router to a config file before I started all this guest network stuff and it's back to normal.

I'm going to reset the range extender and see if it happens again.  Wireless to wireless RE's are terrible :(
