Shutdown scheduling?
« on: June 26, 2009, 07:00:20 AM »

Hi all,

my current setup is an old pc that downloads tv shows etc, and it unpacks the video files onto the Nas, then deletes the source compressed files from the pc drive, and shuts down the pc when its finished downloading, unpacking & deleting, ideally what i want to do is to somehow have the nas to actually shutdown after the tv shows are unpacked onto it, rather than it just going to idle, which makes it quite hot and doesnt really save that much between full on and idle, because i have to download at night, so its staying on over night at the moment.

im just Wondering if there is a seperate program to do this or can it be something that can be added via firmware?

Thanks

:)
