I Got 1 933L and 1 2132L, since the day i bought the 2 cameras i´ve been struggling to make them alive, i got several timeouts on the same day.
I use both of them to monitor my baby girl, and just now i realized that the problems lies on the password of my wifi network, since both of them seems to work fine on cable.  I just tried to set my password without and special characters and voilá no more time outs.  So whats going in on? i cant make my password stronger on dlink products?   both of them got the last firmware.

What mfr and model is the main host router?

Wireless Configurations

• What wireless modes are you using?
• 2.4Ghz Routers only: Try single mode G or N or mixed G and N?
• 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz routers: Try single mode G or N or mixed G and N on 2.4Ghz and single mode N or AC on 5Ghz?
• Channel Width set for Auto 20/40Mhz or try 20Mhz only.
• Try setting a manual Channel to a open or unused channel. 1, 6 or 11. 11 for single mode N if the channel is clear. 13 for EU regions. Try channel 48 or 149 on 5Ghz.
• What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/AES Only. Some WiFi adapters don't support AES, so you might want to try TPIK only or Auto TPIK and AES.
• What wireless devices do you have connected?
• Ensure any devices with WiFi adapter drivers are updated.
• Any 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz cordless house phones or WiFi APs near by that maybe causing interferences?
• Any other WiFi routers in the area that maybe causing interferences? Link> Use InSSIDer to find out. How many? Use v3, its free.

Furry its Netgeat Nighthawk! On 2.4ghz only and 40mhz on .... but since the new password got no special characters everything is fine, but my wifi home got  a week password instead the 64 random password!

If your using WPA2 and AES on the main host router which is preferred, then setting up of a PW with out any special characters can be used. I recommend something not too complex and easy for you and authorized users to remember. Unless your in a high populated area. Don't make it hard to use. Usually most general special characters should work, !@#$%&* I believe. I don't use them generally, only for testing.

but the thing is ... why i cant use those characters on the dlink cameras? from the mayve 15 wifi devices i have at home, those cameras is the only devices that do not work with them!

You might run a test and user a simple PW, say 6 characters and set one of them to 1 special character along with the other alpha characters and see if any of the symbols works...

Several D-Link camera models have FW that doesn't support complex passwords. This constraint has been incrementally phased out of legacy FW, but not completely. I'll have to do some digging to see whether the two referenced models support special characters.
