Ethernet ETH1 up and down
« on: June 09, 2020, 02:01:14 AM »

Hi, I got this problem on one of my AP's (I got 10 3662) but this one is like crazy, he always do that and there are always 20 sec between the down and the up time.. I've updated the firmware of all my APs (2.01RC098 03/03/2020) and I have also put default settings like 3 times to get default config and then put mine, or a test config with just an SSID and password, but still the same ...

Problem : https://imgur.com/CyM0F7D

Hope someone gonna answer me, this forum is quite dead lmao

Just did this before :

1. Factory reset
2. Upload latest Firmware
2. Factory reset again
4. Setup from scratch

After 15 minutes without any DOWN-UP I finally got one and it restart again ...

Swap the DAP around.
Test the DAP by itself with out it connected to anything.
Try downgrading FW then reset and setup from scratch.

If nothing seems to stop this behavior, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.

We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

I did what u said but nothing changed...

I got 1200+ messages in the system events journal, on nuclias connect (report part). And 1028 of them are from the same AP ...

The message is this one "Force change the device status to offline due to the keep-alive messages is abnormal." always the same

By the way, just with the default config (192.168.0.50 address) with an old firmware, I taked this one "DAP3662-firmware-v105-rc047" I still got deconnexions, like 3-4 in 8 minutes... So I think this AP is dead .. or maybe it's due to conditions, it's an AP inside a warehouse which is cold and moist, so

Make contact with D-Link support. Possible unit is faulty.
