Ive been having the same problem with 942l cameras. I tried installing a few 942s and 1 5222l for a client of mine. They all connected for a while but the 942s dropped. Ive been installing CCTV and IP cameras for a while now and have been through dozens of problems regarding IP cameras. Basically in this clients case the cameras worked perfectly fine with the ethernet cable but if I tried connecting them wirelessly they would seldom work. For those that dont know already: You should
1. Make sure you configured the wireless setup in the wizard
2. Reserve your IP cameras IP adress in your router
After a few hard resets, changing encryption type on router, disconnecting other cameras and dhcp clients. I came to the conclusion that it is the bandwith. I connected the same camera someone else´s router and it worked perfectly. I recently minimized the cameras resolution and frames per second to see if that helps.
Anyways hope this info helped someone out there.
