Help D-Link Dir-501 language
« on: September 13, 2014, 12:23:59 AM »

Does anybody have English language pack for this router/AP on computer ?
This router is really old and there is no English language pack on net, I google it and didn't find anything.

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Is there a Language Pack section? What language is currently loaded? Some times you can remove the Language pack from the router and it may revert back to English...

on sticker H/W Ver.:A2, in router settings A1
Firmware version was 1.03, I found 1.01 on net and hoped that it would translate setting on English when I install it, but isn't.
Region: Bosnia and Herzegovina (Europe)
It's on Chinese language and I can't find language pack selection, I hardly found AP setting to turn on wi fi connection(with google translate help).

Ty, founded "clear language pack" with google translate and it's now on English :)
If someone ever have problem on this router with Chinese language just try this like me, it can help :)
3rd in upper row and than second in left column, and than second from bottom and than OK, wait for reboot and done :)
