Took the plunge today!

I like the new Band info on the connections page, so I know which band devices are connecting to.  Including differentiation between the two 5 GHz bands.

But the reason I took the plunge was the supposed ability to assign static IPs, even if the device has already claimed the address.

It works!  And IPs can be assigned before the device connects too.  Dunno if that worked previously, but it does now.

Smart Connect still heads right to the most congested channels, (1, 6, and 11) so it is disabled, along with IPV6.  I have no need for that yet, anyway.

Now I just sit and count the days of stability!
