Hello to everyone

I've seen lots of posts regarding linking 2 routers and using 1 of them as the VPN. I'm having big issues with settings.
So thought I would ask for help specifically for my config and routertype.

What have I done so far
1) written a lot of internetsuggestions the last 2
   weeks
2) Called Dlink support service
3) Called netgear for support
4) Called my ISP provider to get help

ALL WITHOUT ANY POSITIVE RESULTS.

My case is:

I have 2 routers 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1.

Router1: Netgear Nighthawk DD-WRT is connected to my modem and ISP.

Router2 (Dlink dir 865-L) is connected to Router1 using the Ethernet WAN port.

When typing 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 I can access both routers and settings.

 
Router1 can connect to the internet
Router2 can connect to the internet

But when I try to put in the VPN settings to the Dlink router, everything goes wrong, and no internet. I use PUREVPN as provider. I use the D-link tutorial by purevpn to make it work.

I will use the D-link router for wireless outside in my outroom. The Netgear router will be used wireless in my house.

Could any of you expert in here, advise me with specific settings to each router. Or is there any special settings I need to give my computer.

I know that you will probably need more info! And I willing to put in screendumps if necessary

• What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
• Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
• What region are you located?

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

• What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
• What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?

You may need to contact the Mfr of the VPN software for there help and information and guidance as well..
