Update to cloud upload workflow (Synology)
« on: August 08, 2015, 11:58:22 AM »

Since I bought my 2332 I had it writing video files with a PIR event to a NAS and the NAS would then upload the files to Flickr. The NAS I was using was an iomega IX2-200. The Flickr upload portion of it worked pretty well but overall it was a low end slow NAS. I recently upgraded to a Synology NAS. My problem with that is it doesn't have a way to automatically upload to Flickr  that is not on a schedule. So after trying to figure a way to make Flickr work I've given up and created a dedicated DropBox account just for my cams. It's not close to the storage space of Flickr (1tb vs 6gb) but considering the video files aren't that big it will take a while until I have to purge it.
