UPNP AV Server proposal

Hi,

I've bought a DSM-510 and the subtitle files (*.srt, *.ass etc .. )  are not supported by the device. For the moment no evolution of DSM-510 are planned, and beta forum does not exist.

So, i propose to integrate in the UPNP AV server of the DSN-323 to add an option can allow the integration on flight ( during the streaming ) of the subtitle. Like mediatomb for exemple.

This will never happen.  The DNS-323 doesn't have the hardware to support transcoding video files. 

A crude analogy:  Your request is like asking a bicycle to go 500 MPH.  It simply can't go that fast.
