Hi guys

I cant use mac filter on my router. If I enable mac filter 942 goes immediately down.
But I'm sure I have entered mac correctly.
Please look at my screen shot which shows the mac filter settings in the background

I installed dd-wrt on my router but I get the exact same problem with the mac filtering.
Other devices works perfectly fine with mac filtering.
And I seem to have the latest firmware, 2.10.07.

Any ideas?

Is the router Mac Filtering allowing or denying the rule?
Are the (

needed in the MAC string value?

Yeah, I have checked "Permit" and not "Prevent".
I think I have solved this now.
The mac address on sticker on the cam and the mac address reported in the setup wizard is the same.
But.......I clicked around in the camera web interface and under Status I could see another mac where one character differs from the one on the sticker.
I added that new mac to my mac filter list....and guess what? It works.

Could you please please explain why the sticker and the setup wizard reports wrong mac?

Where did you get the camera from? Refurb or full retail new in box?

Yes, new in box from my local store. I don't think anyone tampered with it....

Could the MAC listed on the box be for the wired LAN connection?

Aaah yes, you are probably right. Maybe both should be listed then.

I presume they only list he wired MAC and not the wireless for security purposes.
