Very difficult to set up.
Wouldn't wps with my asus rt-ac3200. Not sure if it was the router that wouldn't work with non pin option.
)

Saw the cameras wifi address and password on camera.
Managed to connect to that and assign it to connect to router.

Still no image in f/w in window 10.even tired chrome

My dlink. Com not magically seeing the camera. (Because it's on a router behind my other router?)

I think on my router when u tried wps and turned it on, at some point it set me back to unprotected open network.

Manual isn't too helpful for non dlink routers, as it only explains the one step connect is only available for dlink routers.

I expect a high return rate as people won't deal with this when they have non dlink routers.

Hopefully i can get an image in ipcam viewer at some point tonight.

Is there any way to force registration with my dlink. Com?

And oh, it took me a while to find out the cameras ip address when i connected to it.that was fun.

Ok managed to get active x control installed on windows 7.

Pretty nice image, clean and crisp in night mode.  Must be applying a low noise option on other cams.

At least everything is straight and not curved with wide angle.

I didn't know their was a higher model that does 1080p.

These are some of the smallest infrareds I've seen.

There's no way to turn them off and have night mode only. Would have to use black electrical tape in this situation.

The camera does feels warm. .infrared temp shows 114f backside, 100 front side (depending on location).

Camera is heavier than plastic models. I'm guess this is a metal body.  Does appear to be less ****e to movement on its stand with the extra weight.

And finally got it connected to my account.

Had to connect my phone to 2nd router and search on local network.

Crashes my older apps, but the one phone that had the new app plays it fine.

Max 128gb.

Picked mine up from new egg for 159.
Found the 2630l at best buy for 179.  Online reviews there point out the difficulty in setting up the camera.

Post a pic for us to see.

I was worried I disabled it - I put the camera in day mode and back to night mode - and it was regular InfraRed (Gray) ..

But I managed to get it back - Put the camera in night mode only, unplug power, and turn back on.

It might be an internal issue with the camera? - it shows the color on both the F/W and mydlink app - so it's coming from the camera...  I'd definitely be curious if this is across the product line or a 'defect' on this one... and will upgrading f/w change this behavior.

The only thing I did to this image was in MS PAINT, I cropped and moved the time stamp.

Everything in grey - except the back lit keyboards.  These laptops are black.  ( http://www.amazon.com/MSI-WS60-2OJ-4K-061US-15-6-Inch/dp/B00RH6AIJS )

Yes, the laptop on the left is blue/red, and the other is green/orange combo.

I saw this phenomenon for a second on the 2630l, but that was only when I was setting the timezone and sync time... It's boot process is a lot longer - and I think it sets things up properly.

Also found a 125F spot reading on the back of the 960l tonight.  Definitely don't want that up next to anything flammable.

p.s. tinypic.com appears much better for images.

I managed to get my dcs 2630l to do this color nightvision also.

While in ir night mode, log into camera f/w and set the contrast to 100%. It should change. Then you can drop it back to 60% and it should still be good.
(I didn't do this for the dcs 960l).

Just don't switch to day mode and it should be color ir.
