Hello,

My DCS-960L is set to send 6 snapshots upon motion detection, however each snapshot is sent in a single mail, which in fact is virtually the same as configuring the camera for a single snapshot with no time interval!

I also own a pair of DCS-942L which send the 6 snapshots in a single mail! Does anyone know how to configure the 960L to behave the same way?

Also, I have set the email's time interval for 300 seconds (5 minutes) but the camera sends 2 sets of 6 emails (12 total) for each motion detection event! Does anyone have the same experience?

Is the 960 configured similarly to the 942s?

Hello again,

Here is the information you requested:
- Hardware version: A1
- Firmware: 1.03.05 (the most recent available online for this model to my aware)
- Region: Portugal (Europe)

The 960L is configured in the exact same way as the 942L, same snapshot rules, motion detection, email, etc. (except for the the settings that are not equal to each other, for example, the video profiles definitions, one is HD the others are not).

I would phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask them about the snap shot behavior and if this maybe a different change between the older 942s and the 960 camera. They may have changed the way the 960 handles pictures attached to emails...

As of the new firmware update (1.04.02) the behaviour of the 6 snapshots has changed.
Now all 6 snapshots are sent in a single email.
