DIR-615 hung after a few hours
« on: May 14, 2016, 05:28:30 AM »

Hi All
I've got a DIR-615 HW: Q2 FW: 17.2. I purchased it a few months ago and, for about three weeks, I have been experiencing the following issue.
The router stops working for some reasons, with the power light on and also the internet and wifi lights are on and do not blink. There is nothing in he logs. This issue occurs every days at least once a day. A power cycle reboot is necessary to fix the issue. Then the router works fine for a while until the next freeze.
First I thought an upgrade to the last FW version could be a good solution but when I click in the menu to check the last release, it states there is no answer from the server... And I can't find any FW file on the dlink site for my Q2 HW release...
Thanks for your help

Hi,
Thank for the answer!
Hereafter I try to answer your questions:
What region are you located? France
Are you wired or wireless connected to the router? wireless
Has a Factory Reset been performed? Not yet
Was a Factory Reset performed before and after any firmware updates then set up from scratch? No update has been performed since the DIR-615 is unable to connect the server and the D-Link web site doesn't offer any update for my Q2 HW
