hi all 
i just installed a DNR-322L NVR and upgraded the firmware to 2.10
i connected 3 DCS-2210 and upgradedthem to : 1.22.00
i recorded the passwords for the 3 cams, when i go on "live" menu i just have todouble click a cam to see it
i scheduled also under "setup/recording schedule" the 3 camslike that
Start Time End Time Record Audio
00:00 24:00 Always Enabled

but... nothing... status is always "no recording" for the 3 cams...

Have i missed something ?

I had exactly the same issue when I installed the system and then upgraded to V2.10. I went back to a prior version but it was the same - no recording.
I then went back to V2.10, reset to factory settings and re-ran the wizard, configured the cameras and it woks fine now.
So, I suspect the solution is to reset to factory defaults after the new firmware is installed.
I'm not sure if you do a restore from a save configuration, that it will work, as mine is a new system.

well... i think we have a real BIG BUG here... 
in fact, with the help of "AGDunn", i managed to get a "recording manually" just after a factory reset (and adding the passwords for the 3 cams) but whenever i try to schedule under "setup/recording schedule" it stops immediatly recording 

to sum up... i have to let "no recording" on the menu "setup/recording schedule" for my NVR to record (no joke...)

is someone working on the firmware of the DNR-322L ?
can we report this BUG somewhere ?

i installed this brand new system, 900 euro TOTAL (!!) without counting my work hours... and i have to debug it ??

i also work for several other companies in IT... do i have to recommend another brand for the next system i ll be told to install ?

I'm still having issues with mine.  It hasn't recorded for over six months.  I'm about ready to throw out the system and buy something else.

The cameras are fine.  But if I can't rely on the NVR to actually record, what good is it?  When I had a prowler at my back door, I wanted to show the police the video of my confrontation with him.  Oops, no video, sorry.

I feel like D-Link is developing and marketing new products, but they're not active on their support or even making their products work as advertised.

Here's another update.  I reset the DNR-322L to factory again using the wizard.  The cameras came up and started recording.  Good news!

The bad news is that they all stopped recording by the morning.  No change in settings, they still showed connected, but had switched to "Not recording".

The DNR-322L is on the latest firmware.  All cameras are on the latest firmware.  This is not and has never been a stable and reliable platform.

wel...now i have exactly the same feeling 

the only problem for DLINK is that i installed this buggy expensive system for one of the biggest enterprise in social network in europe 
and when i will tell to the boss here... may be we will summarize this story on twitter /facebook etc...

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

Hello everybody,
For me, I finally got it now. By default, the recording appears to be on manual recording. You can configure a time response, but unfortunately this only starts when you press the recording button in the web gui on the "Live Video" tab (see manual version 2.10 on page 77). This ends manual recording and the DNR-322L works according to the configured schedule.

At least it helped me and the recording works now.
