Can not connect DHP-310AV with DHP-308AV

it was working perfectly for two years, but not it is now working anymore. When I try to connect them on the same floor, it works fine. and the connection is stable. But when i try to plug in 310 unit in the socket on the first or second floor, it is just not working. Tried the factory reset, no effect. Any ideas?

BTW. The electrical installation is exactley the same as it was before.

Any recent appliance additions to the household?

Do the units work together in the same room as a quick test?
IF the units connect well on the same floor, however do not on different floors, something between these two floors has changed or something was plugged in and maybe causing power line interferences.
