Can't access from outside the network!
« on: July 17, 2009, 06:52:37 AM »

Hi!

I have a DIR-615 router and I'm trying to connect from a computer outside of my network to a specific computer in my network...

I have port forward enabled to the PC that I want but it stills doesn't allow me to ping the port selected!

Any suggestions??

Thanks!!

Ping is not normally a "forwarded" protocol.  The router can block / respond to the ping itself.  Check under the Advanced Network section for the WAN Ping Respond option.
