Just updated my two trusty D-Link DCS932L H/W Ver: A1 webcams to Firmware Version V1.14.04 and can no longer get access using the Chrome browser.
The page returns, "The browser you are using may have difficulty receiving images and video. If you experience any issues viewing this page, we suggest using Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari."
The words "may have", "if you" and "we suggest" make me think I should be able to proceed, having been duly warned. But there is no way around and I am not allowed to access my equipment over my network except by IE.
I've worked through the Java issues in Chrome and been able to see video and administer my cameras using Chrome over the several years I've owned them, until this update.
I also use a DCS2310L HW: A1 I just updated to V1.08.03 which returns the same warning, but after login where I can dismiss it and continue to march.
Any thoughts? Still now using a Windows machine, but planning to move on to a Chromebook and live online. Still will want to look through my cameras.
Thanks -John
