Hi,

I'm new with this camera and wanted to know if it's possible the following config:
- Take snapshots (motion detection and PIR) and send them by email (gmail).
- Record the triggered video (motion detection and PIR) but record it in SD card.

I tried to configure sending video, but got some files OK other empty and after a couple of minutes the camera image just hangs.

There should be a priority assignment on each task. Try changing those.

Not sure what you mean by the image hangs. Could be a number of unrelated issues. Without knowing your exact settings, you could be emailing too many things causing a hold up there,or have a poor wifi connection, slow Internet speed, etc.

Try doing one thing at a time first.

• What region are you located?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using?

Hi,

I was able to config it, unfortunately there's a limit on event creation, just 2. So had to make choices.
Hang in image it might be related to sending mails with 5MB. So I changed things a bit.
Now is sending snapshots by mail (everything fine) and video recording to sdcard.
