What is the simplest way to have my pictures with all the folders I have created available to view online or just via the NAS in a simple gallery style? I have tried the available add on app Photo Center but once I got through to the setup it was a bit complicated for me, sorry! Also the standard photo gallery wants me to go through and setup each folder one by one! Maybe this is the way to go.

Hi All,

I am looking for a gallery add-on that sets up my 320l to share my photos over the web. I would like to share photos with my family. I like to make an IP, or something and then accessible over the web using HTTP so that my family and friends can then view my 320l stored photos from any internet connection. This maybe works like google drive or dropbox. The Picture Manager doesn't work and is very old. Can you help me?

jAlbum will do that but your real problem is going to be the fact the DNS-320L does not have the horsepower to be a full blown web-server, especially if you expect a lot of people to view your pictures.  Remember that anything out on the web can, and will, be picked up by other people therefore you will also need to be able show that you have the copyright to those pictures and, if you are in the US, comply with the laws regarding age of any persons shown.

If you just want to make them available to family you can use the built in FTP server (there will not be any preview of the images) to do that.

Very simple - you don't.

A lot of people miss the point of Network Attached Storage (NAS). 

A NAS device is first and foremost a STORAGE device for data that you do not want to lose.  The fact it is connected to a network requires a way for it to communicate over the network hence the built in network protocols and CIFS/SMB and FTP (both used for transferring data over a network).

Small SOHO NAS devices are not file servers, nor are they full blown computers (they do not have the computing power on the normal SoC or large amounts of memory).  Yes, there are some that are based on custom Mini ITX boards that are more powerful but that power costs (at least an order of magnitude more).

Now to your problem.
You have two choices.
1) Use the built in FTP server and give your family and friends the information when you update your pictures.
2) Create a website to display your pictures.

The first option gives you better security because you can issue usernames and passwords for access but people can't see the pictures before they download them.

Option 2 requires a computer that is on 27/7/365 if you are going to host it yourself.  This is why I mentioned jAlbum.  They will, for a modest fee, host your photo album for you (they also take care of the security) and all you have to do is construct your album on your computer (it does require the latest Java runtime), publish it and tell people about it.  If you already have a website you can publish it there of course.  Over the years the jAlbum software has become easier to use for anyone just wanting to display their pictures.
