Hi Guys,
I am trying to setup a D Link DWR-921 4G/LTE router so that I can view IP camera's on it remotely. So I need to setup a Virtual Server.
I have gone through and setup all the necessary ports for the IP camera using its settings page and no matter what I do I can not connect to it remotely.
I had them working fine on a Belkin Router but I want to use the camera remotely so need the 4G/LTE router to enable this.
I have used the website http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ to check and I have no open port connection.
I was wondering, do some phone company's stop you from using Port Forwarding? I am using a prepaid Aldi Mobile Sim card.
On my Belkin router and other routers I have used before they ask you the connection type as is TCP/UDP ports. The D Link does not do this when setting up a virtual server. Is it assumed that it is always this port type?
Is there another setting to change to enable this?
The manual does not say so it is hard to know.
