Hi, i just installed my 825 with fw 2.00 eu everything works fine so far only my readynas duo shows it has only 100mbit,i did some speed testing from pc to nas to confirm.i get only 10MB/s uploading to my nas and wireles 40Mb/s between my nas and my eva9150 but 80Mb/s from pc to the eva9150,any sugestions why the nas doesnt see the lanport as gb?

First off, upgrade to later firmware.  ftp.dlink.de

In Frontview on the NAS check to see if it says 1000Mb/s full duplex on the Network > Interfaces page.

Make sure the DIR-825 is set to 1000/100/10.

Try a new Cat5e or better cable.

In my network i have 1 desktop(wired),1 readynas duo(wired) and a eva 9150(wireless N),would a gig switch give me a better performance or would it be a waste of money?I'm getting 22MB/s with drag and drop between nas and desktop now.

If you are getting 22MB/s now then you are already connected using Gigabit.  Thats about the best you'll get with the Duo.

What about the wireless N speed to my eva 9150,when i run speedtest on the eva it say's 45Mbps from nas and 75Mbps from desktop,is there any way i can improve the speed from my nas there?I don't know why i have a better speed from my desktop to the eva.

What are you using to run speed tests?

From your PC to NAS you get 22MB/s but from your PC (or NAS) to the EVA9150 you get 4MB/s?  I would first check to see what type of performance other people get r/w to the EVA9150.  Maybe its just slow??  If thats not the case, try to confirm by hard wiring the EVA as a test to see if performance improves.  If it does, then you need to start looking for issues in the wireless N setup or maybe the distance is too far.

Maybe the EVA has a firmware upgrade?

Yes i get only 4MB/s using wireless N to the eva 9150,i havent try'd wired, the eva has a 100mbit nic.
I'm using the latest fw on the eva, with that i can use nfs wich has a slightly better performance then samba, other people report arround 70 Mbp/s but that's wired, wich i rather not use,the 825 and the eva are in the same room,so distance is about 4 meters max.Altough the speed seems slow,i have no problem streaming m2ts files with max bitrate of 40mbit.

As a test I would try a wired link between the DIR-825 and the EVA.  Hopefully you'll get closer to 10MB/s.  Why would Netgear limit the LAN link to 100Mb/s?  Dumb if you ask me.
