WBR-2310 as a switch?

Hi,

I have an N network with a DIR-655 router. It only has 4 ports, I need 5 (one NAS box, 4 PC's)

Can I use my old WBR-2310 as a switch on one of the ports, hence giving myself more ports?

Yup

What you want to do is to disable the dns proxy (if there is such a thing on the wbr) and most importantly, disable the DHCP server on the WBR-2310...

After this, simply plus a cable in one of the LAN ports of the WBR and the other end in a LAN port of the DIR.

Forget the WAN port on the WBR-2310.

With this setup, you will be using the WBR as a simple switch.
