getting Silex Virtual Link to work with DIR-860L

Hi,

  I have DIR-860L with USB drive attached to the USB port.  Am running Win 10 on my laptop.  After trying to install the latest shareport with no success, noticed that Silex Virtual Link has apparently replaced shareport.   Have installed SX Virtual Link.  ISoftware lists my router, but when I switch to the  USB device view, the drive is not listed.  I have been able to map a drive letter to the USB port, but my backup software fails to connect to the USB drive.  Can anyone help me get the USB drive to show in  SX Virtual Link?  I think that might get the backup software to connect.
