@alphanumeric:

Thanks, I tried that before I posted.

This evening my wife needed to make a Skype call for her work, and of course, her network was down.  I got an earful, ending with, "Go back to the other router!"  The strange thing is that her WiFi configuration software says it's connected to the network and has lots of bars, but it just doesn't have a router-assigned IP address and so it has a self-assigned address.  I'm going to try pre-assigning her computer an address in the DLink, and also maybe try a static address in the PC's configuration (though that might not work because she also takes it to work), then give up.

POS.

My issue to the T. Have a 95% signal, but no IP, wired devices still work, but not the wireless crap. This goes for all 3 PCs in my house, and 2 iPhones.

This morning woke up to have no internet connectivity, couldn't reach the router either, though my computer still indicated it had a valid IP address.  Who knows?  I've switched back to my 3-year old Linksys G.  The pages load a little less instantly, but they effing load!

D-Link, you make junk.
