Low Volume using HDMI Cable
« on: September 26, 2009, 02:27:10 PM »

Have been using composite cable from the DSM-750 to TV and volume on the TV was at 15 and loud enough to hear, now I am using a HDMI cable I need to increase the volume to 30 on the TV, rather loud when I switch back to watching TV.
Do I have the wrong cable? I can remember trying a component and audio cable awhile back and that had low volume also.

Have you tried using a different HDMI cable? It could just be a bad cable. I have always heard they either work right or they dont, regardless of the price. I went to Fry's Electronics and bought 4 for my house for $10 a piece and they work great.
