I can only check it on a PC away from my home. Wouldn't be any point in it.
German support only sent me a checklist per email. I did most of it. Nothing's changed.

I'll just return it. Already ordered an ASUS dongle.

Point is that if you think your having issues on the MoBo, this could be an issue as well. To clearly see where the issue may be, testing with a different PC and Windows 7 does this.

I....don't understand...

I came back from the gym. The PC has been put into Stand-by mode. Powered it up again.....and it works....
I don't get it.

Will report back if it lasts a whole day tomorrow.

Capture and show us how its working?

Does you MoBo have any power management configurations on the adapter or the ePCI slot? Might disable if enabled and test.
Seems like something on the PC maybe is causing problems.

It works how it's supposed to.
There are occasional lag spikes though. But I don't see a pattern. I'll keep monitoring it.

So how was this solved? did the mainboard updates kick in?

Did you recently update the MoBo drivers any?

What is the Mfr and model of the MoBo or PC?

Will think if you can test the adapter in a different PC...

It's a MSI B150M Pro-VH
I updated the BIOS and some other drivers. But nothing changed right after that. Yes, I rebooted, multiple times.

I can't test it on a different PC in my home environment. The card itself isn't defect since this is the second one to behave like that.
So it will most likely work fine on the I think Win8 PC Thais available away from home.

Seems we have similar issues and some time mistery.
Lately I bought two DWA 582 PCIe adapter WI-FI for relocated computers in home integrating Wi-Fi technology.

The two have Windows 10 , 64

First computer, I did what was requested on the package , install software and after the adapter on PCie slot. After rebooting , it works as it was supposed to do. The second computer was a little more complex. Did the same set up as first but had an issue with stability with the connection , connect , disconnect all the time no performance.
I went to the site D-Link and founded a new recommandation to install on windows 10 like do not use the include CD but let windows installed the drivers. After cleaning the computer from previous hardware, I restarted the process and didn't achieve any better result.

So I was thinking maybe an issue with the hardware and exchange it with a replacement unit from my vendor. I followed same recommandation process from tech D-Link and surprisingly, did not achieve better than previous.

It seems to me that windows 10 does not install properly the drivers to run it at first installation.  I resolved the issue by downloading the latest version of drivers and forced them into the unit. Strange , two parent computers, two same cards , same system and so much different ending.

Did you try hitting F8 during a power ON or reboot of the PC right after the BIOS screen is seen then select Disable driver enforcement feature? I've seen this issue with Windows 7 on x64 OSs that sometimes doing this can help.

Sounds like using the latest drivers and manually unpacking the drivers and manually installing them works though.
