Park Music Will Not Work
« on: August 31, 2009, 05:37:23 AM »

When I park any call incoming to my office (and I have 4 incoming lines), the caller cannot hear any music while they are parked.  I went into my MS Response Point Administrator, and changed CONFIGURE PARK MUSIC to 'play input connected to audio jack on the base unit'.  I have plugged in my Ipod through it's headphone jack to this input on the base unit, using a 3.5mm male to male plug.  I've put the Ipod on shuffle music, and still nothing can be heard while parked.  Can someone explain how this music on park actually works, and if it does ACTUALLY work?

I returned my whole Response Point system.  If the idiots from Dlink India can't fix it, who can?  I remember when Dlink had USA tech support.  Not on this system!  Hey, Dlink....move your tech support back to the USA and I'll start buying your products again!

Other than the iPod, did you try any other source for park music? The system has been tested and it works. Your issue is isolated and needs to be verified if it is a matter of compatibility or not. Anyone with the same issue should be assured that park music works. There is no two way about it! Please call our technical support for further assistance. If they can not resolve your issue, they will escalate the call to the technical engineers for a resolution. The avenues for assistance are open.

I've called numerous times.  The guys in India with American names can't hide the fact the tech support on this product is horrible at best.  I've tried the park with music from the radio and an Ipod, and it doesn't work!  How many times do I have to call????  After calling 4 times, I've quit!  Hello, returns department??
