Browsers issues
« on: October 04, 2018, 09:38:08 PM »

Until recently I have been able to access the "advanced settings" windows with my Safari browser not Chrome which I use for almost everything else. I am no longer able to use that and when I take the suggestion to download the plug-in and follow the process when I try to install the plug-in I get a Install Failed message. Any clues as to what I am doing wrong or a work around? Thanks

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your DCS? Look at the sticker behind or under the camera.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Have you updated to the latest FW?

I have camera's both in Arizona and Canada and the firmware in all is updated to the most recent version. I have Firefox Version 52 ESR installed but when I try to install the plug-in I get a "Plug-in Installation Failed" warning. Actually the same error I get in all browsers.

And you cleared all browser caches, exited the browser then re-launched the browser then accessed the cameras web page?

Yes, everything is reset, reloaded and I am using a Mac and everything is up to date. Dlink lite works fine on my mobile but you can't change email addresses on there.
