Ok, so I can't seem to reproduce the NAT issue with v1.12.
This time I first did a factory reset, loaded v1.12 on top of v1.10, factory reset once more, then setup from scratch. Now both game consoles are
OPEN NAT at the networking dashboard.
I hard powered them both off and swapped which one was turned on first. OPEN NAT for both still.

I believe last time I didn't start out with a reset, I think I applied v1.12 on top of v1.10 then continued. I thought at one point I did do a factory reset after v1.12 was applied as well. Or possibly the change in cable modems since last time I had the 878 online may have been a factor as well, however I doubt it.
Even if I did a factory reset upon last v1.12 load and setup from scratch, any FW issues should have been cleared out. I also believe that loading v1.12 over v1.10 and not doing a reset may have given false results, however, v1.10 has worked for both game consoles getting OPEN NAT, and applying v1.12 over v1.10 and continuing with out a reset caused one console to get Moderate NAT, then I would think there is some forum of a application issue with updating to v1.12 over v1.10 which seems to cause one game console to not get OPEN NAT on v1.12 when both did on v1.10.

I'll run this this week with both consoles and see how things go. I'll probably recommend that if users are using this model router and have two game consoles, factory reset, load v1.12, then do one more factory reset and setup from scratch. This would keep the system and uPnP in working order for multiple game consoles. My 878 is slated to go to Bro In Law house and he's getting ready to setup internet this week so I'll probably not be able to test with this model again.
HOWEVER, I have found another bug in v1.12 I believe with the wifi button in back which i'll post about in a new post.
