Sharecenter DNS-320L Pulse stuck on 0% when formatting
« on: February 18, 2020, 04:23:36 AM »

I have a Sharecentre Pulse which I’m trying to set up with two 8tb drives.

Each drive individually will format no problem and can be seen as separate volumes (1 drive fitted and formatted then swapped for the second)

When both drives are reinstalled after formatting, both volumes can be seen.

However, if I delete all the partitions on the drives, install both, then try to format as one large JBOT volume, it initialises, but stays on 0% when formatting.

Any ideas why this is happening and how I get around it?

Thanks in advance

Did you check first to see if the DNS supports that size of drives?

Do you have two smaller drives that you can test with to see if using smaller drives works at all?
What FW version is loaded on the DNS?
