Hi everyone, hoping to get some support here as i am running out of options.

as title says, i need support for the DIR-882 Rev R1A which was purchased in Israel.

I purchased the router specifically for the ability of using the 160mhz (as it also says so on the product page and on the box).

For some reason i got the R1A (Russian model, and russian labels on the box) instead of the A1 model. This prevents me from updating the firmware and using the 160mhz option or channels. Also i could not find support for this model anywhere on the internet.

Is it possible to install some generic version that will unlock the above option? Basically is there anything i can do with this device besides returning it (Both D-Link Israel and the store are stingy about the return as they say the product is already "used")

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.

We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

Unfortunately their offices are not available due to the current crisis. They can only be contacted via email. They took some logs and sent me a different version to try today but all it did was "Unlock" the option for 160mhz but changed nothing in terms of list of available channels. Since the available channels out of the box were UNII-1 and UNII-2 only i was expecting to see channel 50 adding to that list, but instead all i can see are channels 36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64.
