OK, so I just bought a DNS-321 to use primarily as a Media Server for my PS3. I installed a 1TB Western Digital Hard Drive and set everything up with my Macbook (not really great Mac Support, btw, D-Link).
First problem I had was when I mounted the DNS-321 in Snow Leopard it showed the Volume_1 folder but the Shared Folder don't show up (but they do show up in the PS3's XMB). So, after spending a half hour attempting to figure out why I couldn't see these Shared folders, I said, whatever, and changed the folder in the UPNP settings to Volume_1/Media
I threw my copy of Kill Bill, Volume 1 (M4V) ripped with Handbrake onto the DNS-321 into the specified Media Folder. I turned on my PS3. The PS3 definitely saw the DNS-321 as a UPNP Media Server, showed all the shared folders I couldn't see on my Macbook, and then I slid over to Video ---> All Folders ---> Media (the folder I created), and ... Then the PS3 informs me no titles could be found. And I know for a fact Kill Bill is there (and, yes, I went back into the Browser Front and hit "Refresh" for the UPNP server).
So what am I doing wrong?
Couple other details: Downloaded the latest firmware for the DNS-321 (1.02) and my PS3 is running Firmware 3.00
