Help with Basic Dog Training Techniques

Hi everyone!

I recently started training my new puppy and could use some advice. I’m focusing on basic commands like sit, stay, and come, but I’m struggling a bit with consistency and keeping my pup focused.

I’m located in Ontario and came across a few options for dog training Barrie, but I'm unsure what to look for in a trainer. Has anyone here worked with a local trainer or had success with specific techniques for a young, energetic dog? Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
