When I try to browse to www.google.com from my computer that is connected to the DPR1260, nothing happens.  This happens with any website outside of my home.  I'm not sure why this is happening though.  I can connect to the web from any other computer in my house.  If I plug my laptop into the dpr1260, the same thing happens.  If I plug my laptop into my dlink router, it works fine.

I can connect to FTP sites through the dpr1260 with no issues and download files.  I can also connect to my companies VPN via the dpr1260 and when I do that, I can then browse the web.  So there is something specifically about browsing and the DPR1260.  I even formatted the hard drive and installed Windows 7.  Same issue.

I have installed the latest firmware on the dpr1260 and reset it to factory default settings.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem a couple of years ago using the DPR-1260 to bridge wirelessly to a WBR-2310 router.  A PC connected directly to the router via Ethernet had no problems, but when connected to the 1260, many domain names could not be resolved (though some were fine).  An e-mail reply from customer support suggested that a discussion with a technician via telephone was in order, but I never got around to making the call.  I am going to give this another try since I have reconfigured my home office and I will post my experience in a few days.

I found this review on the 1260 and they reviewer had no problems using it as a bridge.  He recommended using a static IP address on the print server instead of DHCP.
