Installation Issue- Can't detect router

So I attempted to install my router using the wizard on the CD. I followed the first few steps, but when the installation software needed to detect the router, it could not. I tried this about 5 times with no luck.

I then tried to set up the router through the traditional router setup via an internet browser. I used the internet and wireless wizards and attempted to connect to the wireless network with my Apple Itouch. While I could see the network and was prompted for a password, I was unable to successfully log in.

Any help is appreciated.
