Can't open folders from Mac OS X 10.6.3
« on: April 29, 2010, 09:38:59 PM »

I'm using a Mac mini with "OS X 10.6.3".
When I try to open a folder from my Mac it comes up with the following message:
"The operation can’t be completed because the original item for "[my folder]” can’t be found.
Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

I'm guessing that you're opening a link you have to the network folder, but you haven't actually logged into the drive... It would be like opening an internet link without connecting to the internet first.  Try going to "Go" and then "Connect to Server" and connect to your drive that way... rather than using a link.

go into your mac hd - your dns-321 should be listed as a network

double-click on the network name of your dns-321 and it'll open the volumes - double-click the volume you want - and it'll be auto-mounted to your desktop....
