out in the boonies my mothernlaw has dialup internet.
i've enabled internet connection sharing through her nic card.  when the second computer is connected through the cat5 and is setup for ics through its nic card is sees that it is online through ics on dialup.

now how do i configure the dir-615 to broadcast the shared internet connection through its wifi so that the laptop can pick it up?  can this be done with this router?

i've disabled DHCP on the router but when the laptop connects to the ipaddress i give the router nothing happens and the laptop says limited/no connectivity. do you guys know what i'm missing in the configuration?
