Irritating Window opening when I click on SharePort
« on: October 02, 2009, 03:01:48 AM »

This (circled) box opens when I click or right-click on the SharePort Icon in the tray.  This box refuses to close and the only way I managed to shut it is to re-boot my laptop.

My laptop is running on WinXP Home with 1024x600 resolution.

This doesn't happen on my Home PC which is running WinXP Prof & 1024x768 resolution.

Any idea how to solve this problem ?

That is a debug window that shouldn't show up unless you added certain
commands to the shortcut or programatically tell the window to appear.

It is possible this is caused by whatever the dock program you are using (the one that
makes it look like a Mac Dock) or some other application you might have interfering.

What is the name of the dock program and are you using the same dock on a PC that doesn't show this
behavior?

Does this issue occur when the utility is launched from the start menu instead of the dock?
