Print Server reliability
« on: October 19, 2009, 07:16:59 AM »

I have a problem: I frequently have to disconnect and reconnect the usb cable between the DNS-323 and my printer so print goes on. This looks like a time out or something like, once you fix it it works fine for some time but everynow and then i found it unresponsive the first time i try to print on the day.
Is there any suggestion on how to address this?
My printer is hp-2210xi

This could be the printer.  I have my DNS-323 booted for months at a time with a Canon MF3110 connected, and I can't remember a time that I had to either reboot the NAS or the printer because of a connection issue.
