Hey all.

I just bought an iPod Touch first generation and updated firmware to 3.0.  I want to connect it to Wi-Fi using my D-Link DIR-625 Rev A Rangebooster N router.  The router has firmware 1.09, which is apparently the latest firmware.  Two desktops using DWA-542 PCi adapters and a laptop using a DWA-642 cardbus adapter connect just fine.  The network has no protection (no WEP, WPA or WPA2), but I'm pretty sure that MAC Address filtering is on.  The iPod sees the network name and that it's an unprotected network, but refuses to connect.  Any help?  Thanks in advance.

you must add the Mac address of the ipod to the list of accepted Mac Addy's to the router. (if indeed the MAC Filtering is on) ~ Advanced- tab: Network Settings: turn on your ipod and it might automatically be listed in the DHCP Client pull down list, if not look for the Mac address of the ipod in the ipod-(Settings, General, About, Wife Address is the one you want)

u could also temporarily turn MAC filtering off and allow the Pod to connect long enough to get its MaC off the Status/Device info page and do a quick copy and paste
