Replaced my broken A1 hardware with broken A1 when I was told A2
« on: November 07, 2009, 07:10:02 PM »

So mr. Ru-Fi-Oh, told me that they would RMA my router with a A@ version... frankly I didnt have the money to spend to even ship it to them in the first place, I already spent $200 on the thin***ear ago & they send me the same broken A1 hardware revision?!?!

This is crap... no refunds they dont respond to the BBB complaint that I filed... total trash... all I wanted was a gigabit router, I could care less about Wireless N just need G...

D-Link you are earning more than your failing grade you are earning my HATRED for your company along with my disdain for Infinity Ward over the MW2 debacle...

DO WHAT YOU SAY WILL DO send me a new router I could care less if its a DGL-4500... just needs gigabit, wireless G, & some sort of QoS that works...

Wow, really!?  If you already filed a complaint I don't see why you are here complaining here.. you will probably get banned by Monday.
Heres's a thought.. If you changed your tone and said things a bit more different, oh lets say, nicer? I bet you will still get dlink's attention

If you have contacts with D-Link already why don't you just hit them up? Instead of whining and b*tching here like others have done and hasn't gotten anywhere?

Gee thanks... do you even own this product? If you did you probably would feel the same way...

BTW, "Sux to be you" isnt helpful or "have a great tone" to it either so either keep your thoughts to yourself off or be helpful...

Did you file it with the correct BBS?  Dlink contacted me within 48 hrs of the filing.  They too offered me to replace the A1 with an A2 but when I received the unit, it was a refurbished A1 with firmware 1.20.  I emailed my dlink contact and he submitted another RMA right away. Yeah I had to pay for the return shipping of both units but it was a fair compromise considering my unit was outside the warranty period.  They ended up shipping me the A2 version with firmware 1.14.

Did you check back with the BBS?
