Need help getting around Sharepoint on DGL-4500
« on: October 21, 2013, 11:52:39 PM »

As the title states, I could use some help accessing my usb drive without Shareport.  I read one other post that seemed helpful, but was for the DIR series of routers, and didnt prove to be much help to me.

As I said, I have a DGL-4500  revision A2
I have 1.23NA firmware installed
I have a Western Digital external drive that works and is detected by Shareport, but I find the use of another program to access the drive ... well, cumbersome at best.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

If this fails then I presume there is no other work around for the DGL series of routers:

One other suggestion would be to get a USB to LAN network adapter...
